Group Accountability Letter
One of the primary philosophies of participating in either group rating or group "retro" is that there is a focus on workplace safety in your organization. As a customer of CompManagement, we, and your group sponsor recognize this and are committed to providing you with the necessary resources to help in this endeavor. This letter outlines the roles that each of us plays in striving for improvements in safety as outlined by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC).
Two Hour Safety Requirement
Employers that participate in a group program and that have experienced a workers' compensation claim within the last 2 calendar years are required to take part in two hours of safety training by June 30, 2011. CompManagement, along with your group sponsor, will be notifying you of many opportunities in the upcoming year on how to accomplish this requirement.
As always, CompManagement provides a wide variety of programs and training ranging from online courses to complete package solutions. In addition, CompManagement's Safety Academy courses provide compliance programs to meet OSHA's core regulatory standards, while also equipping you with the tools to reduce occupational incidents and eliminate physical hazards.
10-Step Business Plan For Safety
One of the cornerstones in any successful safety program is adhering to the principles documented in the BWC's 10-Step Business Plan for Safety. CompManagement, along with your group sponsor, will be focusing on these key concepts in the upcoming year, with the intention that it assists your organization in being able to constantly reduce the risk of workplace injuries. |
